Don't Believe The Hype

Debate One   Romney Vs. President Barack Obama

October 3rd 2012 ushered in the first of three Presidential Debates. The event took place at Denver University. The stage was set and the battle ensued. The titans clashed. When the smoke finally
cleared the podium stage, the news media hailed Mitt Romney as the
winner. They said Obama missed an opportunity on the 47 percent statement of Romney an failed on other issues to excite a  blood thirsty salivating audience.
This was the amptheatre in Rome, the Friday Night Fights, The Thrilla in Minila the playoffs to the
Superbowl of Debates.
Romney came out swinging and styling with a bit hype. The Pres. was cool, calculating and reserve; some say he was doing the Rope-A Dope.
This was not the first time the critics were harsh on the President for being soft. During his first year of Battles with the Republicans, the press criticized the Pressident for not being more aggressive. They wanted him to change his style loose his smile, grit and get tough and have some attiude.
This was suppose to be the night to remember. The anticipation was at full throtlle for some........ Obama...Drama..... But Obama's behavior was non combative. The Champ never showed up, according to the critics, but wait...
What about the facts the truth nothing but the whole truth. "Well..." While Romney waged a furious flurry of lies, 27 lies in 38 minutes according to the fact checkers, the President refuted. The President was cordial and mild while he deliniated the facts with great detail, but where was the fire. Perhaps his mind was on Michelle after all this was their 20th year of marriage, their Wedding anniversity night.
. And at the very beginning he addressed that fact and expressed his love for Michelle before the whole country. His first words were for his wife, a declaration of love and then on with the business at hand.
Who do you think won the debate?
A caller to WURD Radio made a very astute statement. He said there were no winners or losers in the debate. He said the winner will be decided on election day. I agree.
My advice is don't believe the hype.
